(3) Christian Nørgaard ( £12 million)

The Gunners brought in Brentford defensive midfielder Christian Nørgaard with over 100 Premier League appearances which will be a good addition to the team. Nørgaard brings leadership, work rate, and consistency ideal for squad rotation and maintaining intensity during long campaigns.

(4) Cristhian Mosquera ( £13 million)

The 19-year-old Spanish defender Cristhian Mosquera joins from Valencia with a growing reputation. He is expected to develop under the guidance of Gabriel and Saliba while adding depth to the backline.

(5) Noni Madueke ( £52 million)

The winger is the latest Chelsea player to join Arsenal, he will add firepower on the wings for the Gunners and will also serve as a replacement for Bukayo Saka. The England international is known for his electric pace, dribbling skills, and eye for goal.

(6) Viktor Gyökeres ( £64 million including add-ons)

Arsenal finally landed their marquee signing in Viktor Gyökeres, the prolific Swedish striker who lit up the Portuguese league with Sporting CP. He scored 30 goals last season, Gyökeres is expected to solve Arsenal’s long-standing striker dilemma.

Arsenal Football Club has confirmed the signing of top Spanish defender Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad on a long-term deal.

The deal was announced on Arsenal's official website on Sunday, July 6, 2025, which is a few weeks after the transfer was confirmed by Fabrizio Romano. He is joining Arsenal with a wealth of experience from Sociedad, for whom he made 236 appearances in all first-team-level competitions after graduating from the club’s academy.

In April 2021, Martin Zubimendi helped Sociedad win the 2019/20 Copa del Rey against Athletic Club. He was instrumental in Sociedad's highest league finish in recent fourth place to secure Champions League football for only the third time in their history, and the first in 10 years. 

Why did Martin Zubimendi join Arsenal?

He expressed his desire and excitement concerning his move to the Emirates and he looks forward to having a great time at the club.

"This is a huge moment in my career. It's the move I was looking for and one I wanted to make. As soon as you set foot here, you realise how big this club and this team are. I set my sights on Arsenal because their style of play is a good fit for me. They have shown their potential recently and the best is yet to come.”
