When Arsenal took to the streets to celebrate their triumphant title parade, all eyes were on London—but it was our very own Afrobeats queen, Tiwa Savage, who brought a distinct flair to the historic trophy celebration.

The multi-award-winning singer stepped out to celebrate the team’s massive achievement, making sure to represent home while supporting her favourite club.

She cleverly reimagined a classic red-and-white Arsenal football jersey, styling it as a tight crop that sat perfectly above a pair of ultra-baggy, wide-leg utility jeans. The relaxed, light-wash denim featured large front patch pockets, creating a relaxed, floor-grazing street silhouette.

Proving that her patriotism travels everywhere with her, she draped the green-and-white Nigerian flag across her shoulders, making a bold statement amidst the sea of red. For accessories, she kept things functional yet high-fashion, fastening an off-white leather belt pouch at her waist, wearing neutral headwear, and stacking bracelets on her wrists.

The absolute talking point of the outfit was her choice of footwear. Poking out from beneath her sweeping denim cuffs was a pair of white Maison Margiela Tabi split-toe shoes, adding a major avant-garde element to a football-centered afternoon.

It is safe to say she found the ultimate sweet spot between sports culture and high-end street style.

Are you loving how she styled her jersey for the parade?

We are not jealous of the people of Guinea today. Cough cough. Not only did they get to watch Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido perform live on his 5IVE Alive Tour, but they also got to see this outfit up close, and that, might be the bigger flex.

For his 5IVE Alive Tour stop in Conakry, Guinea, Davido stepped out in a dark navy double-breasted pinstripe suit covered in subtle golden speckles that caught every stage light going. The jacket featured a layered lapel combining a classic pinstripe fold with an inner geometric black-and-white checkered pattern, and the lower patch pockets came framed in light blue trim with white graphic silhouettes of human figures printed on them. It is the kind of detailing that rewards a second look.

He paired it with matching wide-leg pinstripe trousers breaking cleanly over a pair of white sneakers, a light blue collared undershirt, tinted sunglasses, a structured blue patterned traditional cap, and a silver luxury watch on the wrist.

The whole look sits somewhere between sharp tailoring and a cultural nod, and it works completely. The traditional cap alongside the wide-leg trousers and white sneakers is what ties it together — dressed up enough for the stage, relaxed enough to remind you this is still OBO. Whoever put this look together deserves their flowers.

Guinea got a show and a fashion moment. We are not jealous. We are absolutely not jealous.

Tiwa Savage can be in the studio giving us hit after hit, and in the very next moment remind everyone that when it comes to style, she knows her way around that too. This look from the Tiwa Savage Music Foundation’s Berklee in Nigeria Grand Finale Concert at the National Theatre Lagos is proof.

She stepped out in a two-piece set by Lisa Folawiyo Studio, styled by Ade Owolabi. The top is a one-shoulder crochet design in stripes of coral, orange, cream, and pink. The texture alone draws you in, then the asymmetrical cut leaves one arm bare, placing her tattoo sleeve right at the centre of the look.

Then the skirt shifts the conversation. The fitted upper half carries navy, olive, and yellow stripes, but from the knee downward it opens into long crystal-beaded fringe that falls to the floor and parts at the front with a high slit. Every angle gives you something else to notice, from the contrast in texture to the movement built into the design.

She carried a soft yellow ruched shoulder bag that picks up the yellow running through the skirt, while yellow satin mules with floral detail at the toe kept the colour story going. Silver drop earrings, stacked bracelets, and rings on both hands added another layer of detail. Her pixie cut stayed sleek and close, while warm-toned makeup and a full lip held their place against all the colour.

As for the occasion itself, the Tiwa Savage Music Foundation’s Berklee in Nigeria programme brought together the Class of 2026 for their Grand Finale Concert at the National Theatre Lagos, a celebration of young Nigerian musical talent trained under a programme that has become one of the most significant investments in African music education in recent years. That Tiwa chose to show up to this one dressed with this much intention says everything about how seriously she takes the work the foundation is doing.

Polka dots were in full display at the O2 Arena in London on 7th March 2026, and Tems was the reason.

The Nigerian singer stepped out for Dave‘s concert wearing a form-fitting white midi dress covered in black polka dots, with a straight strapless neckline sitting clean across the chest. She paired the look with a chunky silver chain-link necklace sitting close to the collarbone, a matching silver bracelet, a silver ring and long voluminous dark curls falling well past her shoulders. A deep berry lip finished the whole thing off beautifully. It was a look that was put together without being overdressed, and it worked completely.

The occasion was night two of Dave’s “The Boy Who Played The Harp Tour” at the O2 Arena, and Tems did not just show up as a guest. She walked out on stage to perform “Raindance” alongside Dave, marking the very first time the song had ever been performed live. The crowd’s reaction, as expected, was enormous.

“Raindance” serves as a central track on Dave’s third studio album. The song recently reclaimed the number one spot on the UK Singles Chart in February 2026, following its initial climb to the top in January. Recorded as a mid-tempo collaboration, the track has gained significant traction following the release of its music video, which was filmed on location in Lagos. The live rendition at the O2 Arena follows the song’s international success, having reached the top ten in over eleven countries.

Tems in polka dots, a number one hit performed live for the first time and a full O2 Arena in London. That was 7th March 2026.

Did you catch Jon Batiste at the 2026 Grammys? We’re willing to bet you did, because his looks were impossible to miss. From the moment he stepped out, it was clear this wasn’t just another red carpet appearance — it was fashion with intention.

If you’ve been wondering who was behind those striking, gem-laden ensembles, we’ve got the scoop. Jon Batiste wore not one, but two custom looks by Nigerian-owned fashion brand Eleven Sixteen, designed by stylist and creative force Ugo Mozie, at the 2026 Grammy Awards, a night that also saw the multi-instrumentalist take home the award for Best Americana Album.

Ugo Mozie is no stranger to dressing icons. His impressive portfolio includes styling and designing for the likes of Diana Ross, Leon Thomas, and even Beyoncé and Blue Ivy during the Cowboy Carter era. Closer to home, he’s also worked with Nigerian stars such as Tiwa Savage, Asake, and Flavour. Still, these Grammy looks feel especially meaningful — deeply rooted in faith, heritage and storytelling.

Speaking on the process, Ugo revealed that the pieces were created in collaboration with Gogo Hsu, a master tailor he discovered in Taiwan. He described the journey as a spiritual one, drawing inspiration from biblical imagery, particularly Aaron’s breastplate of gems — as well as ancient mosaic paintings.

For his arrival, Jon Batiste stepped out in a military-inspired black sequined jacket, complete with gold beaded epaulettes, ornate gold trims and closures, and colourful jeweled patches. Pearl-like button details added another layer of texture, while tailored black trousers and Christian Louboutin loafers with gold chain accents completed the look.

Later, he switched into an equally striking second outfit: an all-black sequined long-sleeve shirt adorned with royal blue crystal-embellished horizontal stripes across the chest and decorative jeweled accents. He paired it with black trousers and a gold crystal-embellished belt with dangling details, finishing the look with twisted locs styled high.

According to Ugo, both looks were crafted using over 100,000 Swarovski crystals, pearls, Colombian emeralds and African gemstones sourced from Mina Stones. He described the finished pieces as “spiritual armour in couture form.”

Ayra Starr is clearly getting into Grammy mode. As the big night approaches, she has been making the rounds at some of the biggest pre-Grammy events, serving memorable looks along the way. At The Recording Academy’s MusiCares gala — held in honour of Mariah Carey as Person of the Year — Ayra arrived in a custom Nicola Bacchilega design that felt elegant, confident, and unmistakably her.

Styled by Elly Karamoh, she stepped out in a champagne-toned satin gown with a structured corset-style bodice that flowed into a floor-length skirt with a soft train. Off-the-shoulder straps added a classic touch, while her beauty look leaned into old-Hollywood glamour, complete with glossy waves and a subtle curl at the front. She finished the look with diamond studs, rings, and a bracelet, paired with nude-toned makeup and clean, manicured nails. The overall effect was polished and quietly assured.

She didn’t stop there. At Spotify’s Best New Artist party, Ayra switched things up with a bolder look, again styled by Karamoh. This time, she opted for a sheer black lace bodysuit with fitted sleeves and a defined waist. Layered silver necklaces with cross pendants and statement drop earrings took centre stage, while her high ponytail, finished with an oversized black bow, added a romantic edge to the look.

Beyond the fashion moments, all eyes will be on Ayra this Sunday as she competes in the Best African Music Performance category for her hit “Gimme Dat” featuring Wizkid. She’s up against Burna Boy (“Love”), Davido and Omah Lay (“With You”), South Africa’s Tyla (“PUSH 2 START”), and Uganda’s Eddy Kenzo (“Hope & Love”). With these pre-Grammy appearances setting the tone, anticipation is already building around what she’ll wear to the main ceremony.

One of the many things to love about Asake is that his sense of style is just as intentional as his music. Yes, the music speaks for itself—hit records, Grammy nominations, sold-out stages—but when it comes to fashion, he refuses to be boxed in. He knows his lane, and he never overstays in one look.

One moment, he’s sharply dressed in a tailored grey two-piece for his Red Bull Symphonic performance. The next, he’s stepping out with electric blue hair, completely switching the mood.

That instinct was on full display in Johannesburg, where Asake stepped out for his first-ever South African performance at the Goldrush Dome. For a night that marked both a personal milestone and the closing chapter of his Africa tour, he chose a look that felt considered without trying too hard: a tan corduroy matching set that did the talking.

The outfit featured a collarless jacket detailed with contrast black piping along the edges, finished with statement white buttons and front patch pockets. The wide-leg trousers echoed the same piping down the sides, creating a clean visual line from top to bottom. Underneath, a crisp white shirt kept things grounded, while chunky tan platform boots added a practical, almost utilitarian touch that worked perfectly for a live performance setting. Dark rectangular sunglasses and stud earrings rounded things off without distraction.

What really works here is the balance. The boxy jacket and wide-leg trousers play with proportion in a way that feels both throwback and current. The tan palette does most of the talking, while the corduroy texture and black piping quietly sharpen the look.

The night itself had plenty going on. Johannesburg showed up as Asake took the stage, closing out his Africa tour on a high. The set moved smoothly between familiar favourites and moments that felt specially built for the room, with orchestral arrangements sitting comfortably alongside the Soweto Choir’s harmonies, and performances from Focalistic and Young Jonn.

At this point, there’s really no need to ask “Who’s Dat Girl?” anymore. Everyone knows Ayra Starr is that girl. And the night she stepped on stage in Cotonou, Benin Republic, only made it even clearer. The singer delivered a performance the Beninese audience won’t be forgetting in a hurry.

After the show, Ayra did what she often does so well. She shared a gratitude post, along with a set of photos from the stage that immediately caught our attention. Naturally, we had to talk about the look.

She went for an all-white moment that felt both chic and cool. The outfit featured a sheer organza blouse with long sleeves and a plunging neckline, layered over a neat bralette. This was paired with a structured mini skirt detailed with pleats and an asymmetrical peplum at the hip, finished off with a visible zip detail. The pointed-toe pumps stayed on theme, also in white.

One detail we can’t get over is the small matching white bow tucked into her hair. It’s subtle, sweet and adds a soft, girly touch that works beautifully with the rest of the outfit.

Ayra captioned the photos with a simple “merci beaucoup”, alongside Benin flags, a beautiful nod to the love she received in Cotonou. And really, it says it all.

The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards took over the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, over the weekend, and as always, music’s biggest stars brought fashion moments worth talking about. Hosted by LL Cool J, the night celebrated some of the year’s most-watched music videos and saw icons like Busta Rhymes and Mariah Carey — this year’s Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award recipient — take centre stage.

But before the awards were handed out, the red carpet set the tone. This year’s fashion leaned into bold silhouettes, nostalgic nods and experimental styling choices, proving the VMAs are still the place for risk-taking.

Love Island’s Olandria Carthen was a vision in a vibrant cherry-red bustier bodysuit with a sheer mesh train that flowed dramatically behind her. Rapper GloRilla kept things playful in a plaid top and blazer by Helen Anthony, paired with a mini skirt, frilly white socks and black patent heels for a school-girl-meets-streetwear twist.

Tyla, known for her ability to surprise on the carpet, tapped into vintage luxury with a Chanel Spring/Summer 1993 archival top, styled with layered gold chains and sleek black pumpse. Ciara’s Schiaparelli look from the Spring/Summer 2025 ready-to-wear collection offered a nod to Sporty Spice with its high neck, mini skirt and bold red finish.

Afrobeats star Ayra Starr matched the buzz around her new single “Hot Body” in a daring, strappy black jumpsuit, paired with a short pixie cut, glittering nose strip, stacked bangles and towering platform heels, a look that felt both futuristic and playful.

From vintage fashion moments to experimental styling, the VMAs once again reminded us why it remains a staple in music and fashion culture.

Keep scrolling for more of the top looks from this year’s show.

Davido had more than just a good time in Brooklyn during the latest stop on his 5IVE Tour. He made it a night to remember, and the photos say it all.

He wasn’t alone either. The crowd got a surprise when American rapper and actor Fat Joe joined him on stage, followed by Victony. Backstage, Davido was seen with Ciara, who has been embracing her recent Beninese citizenship and celebrating the culture with real joy.

From performing “With You“, one of the highlights from his 5IVE album, to a string of fan favourites, Davido gave a full-on performance. The audience responded in kind, singing along and dancing through the night. It was a celebration of music, connection and the kind of live show that reminds you why concerts matter.

Now, let’s talk about what he wore. For the night, Davido stepped out in a rich golden-brown oversized fur coat that set the tone for his entrance. It was bold and unmistakably stylish. He layered it over a plain white T-shirt, keeping the rest of the look grounded and casual.

His choice of accessories added a sharp edge to the look. A chunky gold chain, dark designer sunglasses and a pair of jeans with a belt embellished with colourful stones gave it a flash of personality.

“Brooklyn set the bar! Memories made,” Davido wrote in his caption after the show. Next stop is Boston.

Yesterday, Beyoncé gave Las Vegas a night steeped in history, sisterhood, and joy as she wrapped up her Cowboy Carter tour at Allegiant Stadium. After nearly three months on the road, Queen Bey chose to close things out by taking us back to where it all began – with Destiny’s Child.

When Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams stepped onstage, the crowd erupted. Dressed in co-ordinated gold looks, the women walked out like the royalty they are, performing “Lose My Breath” for the first time in seven years. They followed it up with Beyoncé’s “Energy” and brought the house down with “Bootylicious.” It was a moment of pure nostalgia. The last time we saw them perform together was Coachella in 2018, and before that, Beyoncé’s Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2013. So yeah, this was a big deal.

The night also felt like a celebration of Black women in all their glory. The VIP section was also a show of its own. Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King were spotted clapping along like proud aunties, while Kerry Washington and Khloé Kardashian tried and failed to keep their cool. Oprah was basically the headliner for the celebrity audience.

And in true Beyoncé fashion, she didn’t even bother with a long explanation. She just dropped one photo of herself, Kelly, and Michelle on Instagram, looking like pop royalty, and left us to deal with the excitement on our own.

Tems is giving us another reason to fall in love with her style. The singer shared a few photos from her recent performances on Instagram with the caption “No ordinary girl,” and this look proves exactly that.

She kept things simple but striking in a black halter top with a plunging V-neckline – the kind of piece that relies on clean lines and great styling to make its statement. It’s bold without trying too hard, and it frames her shoulders beautifully, giving that confident, laid-back cool Tems is known for.

Her hair was the real talking point. A curly bob with soft, defined coils that framed her face perfectly. If you look closely, you’ll notice neat cornrow details along the sides, adding a subtle but clever twist to the style.

Makeup stayed true to her understated vibe: warm bronzed skin, lashes that make her eyes pop, and a soft nude-pink lip that tied everything together. She rounded it off with small hoop earrings.

It’s the kind of outfit you can imagine wearing to dinner, a gig, or a late-night rooftop party. Tems has a way of making something as simple as a black top feel fresh and memorable, and this is one of those moments.

It’s a sabi summerrr indeed! Ayra Starr just dropped some brand-new photos from her recent performance with none other than Coldplay, and if you know anything about Ayra, you know the vibe is never halfway. Captioning it “back on stageee with the best Band in the worlddd Coldplay,” the superstar reminded us that her summer isn’t just hot, it’s global.

The photos take us right into the heart of the performance. One shot captures a fully coordinated set with dancers dressed in edgy black leather trousers and white tank tops printed with black stars. The scene has a cool, industrial look with chain-link fencing, stomping boots and sharp choreography all coming together.

Another photo brings that unmistakable concert magic. Ayra, dressed in white with metallic accents, fishnets and knee-high boots, performs alongside Chris Martin. Her hand rests lightly on his shoulder as blue lights flood the stage. A drum kit lingers in the background, adding to the thrill of the moment.

And just when you think it’s all about the stage, Ayra switches things up completely. The final look is Western-inspired, but with her own twist. A classic cowboy hat, chunky gold jewellery and a black strappy top with gold hardware come together for a bold, confident look. It’s giving cowgirl meets cosmopolitan, from Lagos to London.

Are you loving this look on Ayra Starr? Because we definitely are.

Yellow does something special on dark skin — it glows, it lifts, it speaks. So when Tems stepped out at 7Fest in that canary-hued top, we knew we were about to be seated.

The halter-style top, slashed down the middle and laced in gold chains, didn’t play it safe. It draped and dipped in all the right places, sitting just above low-slung denim that nodded to a different kind of cool. Her body was adorned in gold, from a chain belt to layers of statement necklaces, giving this look the feel of both a goddess and a girl who knows exactly what she’s doing.

And she does. Tems has had a full-circle kind of summer, headlining Down The Rabbit Hole in Amsterdam, gracing stages across continents, and still finding time to serve looks that stay with you.

Her hair, styled into soft curls with cornrows that framed her face like a crown, completed the look. Her lips, deep brown-red, were rich enough to anchor the whole moment.

So yes, we’re still thinking about it. And saving it. And sending it to the group chat with that emoji.

See the look below.

Beyoncé just pulled off something huge in Houston, and it wasn’t only about the music. On Saturday night, she kicked off her Cowboy Carter stop in her hometown with a show that had fans queuing up in cowboy boots and custom fringe fits hours before the first note.

She did what she always does—gave a full-on concert experience. But fashion-wise, there was one look that got people talking for all the right reasons. Her second outfit of the night was by Tongoro Couture, a label based in Dakar, Senegal. Beyoncé really said “African designer on a global tour” and meant it. Just a week earlier, her daughter Blue Ivy wore a Nigerian outfit by Ugo Mozie’s Eleven Sixteen brand.

The look was built around a black latex bodysuit with a fierce chest cut-out and a bold metallic cowboy chaps. Then came the cowboy chaps covered with golden cowries and crystals. According to Tongoro, that’s 444 cowries and 44 crystals, if you’re counting.

She paired it with black gloves, boots, and sunglasses. With the lights hitting just right, the whole thing felt like power made visible. And for anyone unfamiliar with Tongoro, it’s a brand founded by Sarah Diouf, and known for its bold celebration of African design and craft.
